Thirty-six images of Ailanthus altissima, Tree-of-heaven, stinktree, Quassia Family (Simaroubaceae) a tree native to China, and weedy throughout North America and elsewhere. In Traditional Chinese Medicine the bark is used in prescriptions for diarrhea, dysentery, tapeworm and other uses. Research has found interesting antimalarial compounds in the bark. Gardeners may suffer rashes from handling the plant.
