Drosera intermedia, Oblong-leaved Sundew, Spatulate leaved Sundew, Spoonleaf Sundew.

Drosera intermedia, Oblong-leaved Sundew, Spatulate leaved Sundew, Spoonleaf Sundew is the most widely distributed sundew occurring in moist, acidic habitats in Europe, eastern North America, and Caribbean Islands south to northern South America. The leaves of this and other insectivorous sundews are traditionally used for lung ailments, perhaps reflecting the concept of the doctrine of signatures. Famous in Europe to treat whooping cough since the seventeenth century, extracts and tinctures are antitussive and spasmolytic.
