Six images of Osmanthus fragrans, Fragrant Olive, Sweet Osmanthus, Tea Olive, Oleaceae, olive family, is native to much of East Asia, and long grown in American horticulture. This evergreen shrub has delightfully sweet-scented flowers, (gui-hua) with a hint of cinnamon, used to flavor tea in China (gui-hua-cha). Flowers also used for cooking or making jam.
