Rhododendron groenlandicum, Ledum groenlandicum, Ledum palustre subsp. groenlandicum, Labrador Tea, Bog Labrador Tea was widely used by First Nations people in northern North America. Leaf tea for asthma, colds, stomachaches, kidney ailments, scurvy, fevers, and rheumatism. European settlers used as a remedy for coughs, lung ailments, dysentery, and indigestion. Contains grayanotoxins which may affect the heart and cause neurological symptoms.
