Eighteen images of Camassia quamash, Camas Lily, Small Camas, Liliaceae, lily family, native to the Pacific Northwest United States and adjacent Canada. Native Groups of the Pacific Northwest roasted the bulbs for use in soups. Steamed or boiled, the bulbs were widely used as a food source by First Nation groups. Also used medicinally. Do not confused with the toxic Death Camas (Zigadenus spp.)
