Photographs of Iceland Moss; Cetraria islandica, a lichen taxonomic group in the Parmeliaceae that is found on mountains throughout much of Europe and elsewhere. Traditionally, this lichen has been used as a soothing demulcent tonic to irritated mucous membranes.
