Digitalis ferruginea, Rusty Foxglove formerly a member of the figwort family, Scrophulariaceae, now placed in the plantain family, Plantaginaceae, is a biennial or perennial native to S. Europe, the Balkans, Turkey eastward to the Caucasus. Rusty Foxglove which like other plants in the genus contains cardiac stimulant glycosides. These images were taken at Botanica Basta, a botanical garden of native plants in Kolasin, Montenegro.
