Shrubby St. John's Wort, Hypericum prolificum, is one of the most beautiful native North American species of Hypericum. A shrub from 2-5 feet in height which occurs in diverse habitats from rocky, dry ground to moist stream valleys from New York to Georgia, west to Lousiana, north to Minnesota. It produces a beautiful yellow flowers. I find no record of medicinal use.
